UPCOMING BUSINESS:
The May Membership meeting will be held in person at Williams Field HS HS on Sunday, May 3rd at 1:00PM.
The Color Guard and Percussion/Winds Advisory Board meetings will precede the membership meeting on Sunday, May 3rd at 11:00 AM at Williams Field HS.
During the Color Guard Advisory Board meeting, three proposed amendments will be voted on, with all guard units eligible to participate in the voting process. To review the items up for vote, please refer to the May 2026 Proposed Bylaws and Policies and Procedures document, and find the section labeled as "Guard Units'.
The Percussion/Winds Advisory Board, composed of the WGAZ Executive Board and one delegate from the previous year’s medalist of each class, must attend the annual meeting or forfeit their position on the Advisory Board. For your unit to maintain its place on the advisory board, you must send a representative to a meeting in May and September meetings. Your representative must appear on your published staff list for the 2026 season and a representative can only represent one ensemble. If you choose to not attend this meeting, your ensemble will forfeit its advisory board membership and any benefits that go along with that designation.
During the Percussion/Winds Advisory Board meeting, three proposed amendments will be voted on. To review the items up for vote, please refer to the May 2026 Proposed Bylaws and Policies and Procedures document, and find the section labeled as "Percussion/Winds Units'.

BOARD ELECTIONS:
Several Board positions are up for election during the full membership meeting. The following positions are up for election:
Vice President
Treasurer
Color Guard Liaison
Percussion/Winds Liaison
All WGAZ Units have one vote to cast for Board Positions. A delegate must attend the WGAZ membership meeting to vote. Delegates must be listed as an approved member in Competition Suite. Each delegate must only vote for one unit. The bios for each nominee is listed in the link under Nominations.
